Wilhelm Schweizer Pewter Checking the Wish List

Santa settles in beside the stove to review the Christmas wish list, pipe in hand and his pets keeping close by. A stack of books serves as a table for a steaming cup of hot cocoa, while the warmth of the stove sets the scene for a long evening of Christmas preparations. Hand cast in pewter and hand painted, the scene is filled with familiar details of Christmas Eve and the work still to be done before Santa sets out for the night.
